Attendance and Absence

  • Attendance will be taken every hour.

  • Attendance, as stipulated by the University, is mandatory for all students, to appear for the end semester examination

  • Minimum attendance requisition for each course: 75%

Benefits of attendance:

  • To attend the approved activities of college with the prior concurrence of the Principal.

  • Participation/attendance certificate in curricular/extracurricular activities to be produced

  • In case of continuous absence without informing the authorities for more than 14 working days, the name will be removed from the rolls. Admission to repeat courses will be within the sanctioned strength.

  • Students who have suffered serious health problems, on the production of a medical certificate issued by a physician, not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon in Government service, as soon as possible may be permitted to repeat the course considering her SGPA/CGPA and percentage of attendance.

  • Absence of a student on any day shall be with prior intimation to the Proctor.

  • Absence for any internal examination or continual assessment conducted by faculty in class may be detrimental to the overall performance and results. No reexamination will be conducted for students absent for internal examinations.

  • Misbehaviour in class or campus will be severely punished. The nature of punishment will depend upon the severity of the offence and will be decided by the Principal

Terms & Conditions for Students

  • The student must remain present for all class tests & college assessment examination.

  • The student shall complete all the term work such as journals, drawing sheets, workshop jobs or any other assignment as per schedule.

  • The student & parent shall specifically note that if the student fails to complete the term work regularly & to the entire satisfaction of the head of the institute, he / she will not be granted term & will not be eligible to appear for the University examination.

  • The student shall note that he / she is responsible to the Authorities of the institute not only for his/her conduct in the premises of the Institute but also for his / her general behavior.

  • The student should help in maintaining the building & the campus of the Institute clean & tidy.

  • Students shall abide by the rules & regulations framed by the Institute from time to time.

  • For mis behavior of any nature, the student will be liable to punishment including rustication.

  • The student shall wear apron in workshop.

  • The student is expected to read the notices put on the notice board of the college regularly.

  • The College is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the student due to his failure to read the notices from time to time.

  • Students shall park their vehicles only in the specified area & shall always carry their identity card while in the college premises.

  • Any change in the address of the student must be communicated to the office immediately.
